Customer: What guarantees does INSTAR offer on their service?
INSTAR: We offer the best guarantee in the industry. No one could offer a better guarantee. See our guarantee.
Customer: Is it really necessary to receive regular pest control visits throughout the year? Why can't you control our pests with one service?
INSTAR: If you are seeing any pest activity, it is almost always true that the populations that you don't see are much greater than you imagine. For example if a homeowner sees a single mouse, one cockroach or just one silverfish, it is safe to assume that the pest population is forcing them to leave their protected nesting sites. These pests are commonly noticed in and around your home as they are searching for new nesting sites and harborages. If intensive pest management services are not performed on a regular basis these populations will continue to grow to the point that these pests become more than a nuisance, but an actual threat to both the structure of the home and the health of your family. We will invest a significant amount of time and money to satisfy you as a customer and keep your home free of pests.
Customer: Does your service cause negative long-term effects on the environment?
INSTAR: No. Advances in chemical technologies have made pesticides more environmentally friendly. Items such as pastes, baits and traps have nearly eliminated airborne pesticides indoors. The sprays used in the INSTAR service are synthetic pyrethroids these products have limited amounts of active ingredients.
Customer: Is your service harmful to my pets?
INSTAR: No. The major threats to your pet's health are those posed by pests. Ticks and fleas, bees and wasps, fire ants and rodents all pose considerable health threats to not only your pets but also your family. INSTAR will provide environmentally friendly pest control for your home, family and pets all the while protecting them from the health threats commonly associated with pest invasions.
Customer: Should we be concerned if our family members have asthma?
INSTAR: No, in fact studies have shown as reported by Columbia University that there is a direct link between cockroaches and asthma in children. INSTAR will use advanced chemical technology to treat your home with low toxicity products thus limiting the use of airborne pesticides.
Customer: If I sign up with INSTAR Pest Control, does this mean I'll never see another bug in my house again?
INSTAR: INSTAR provides the best pest control service available, and our goal is to provide you with a pest-free environment. However, pests can enter your house in grocery bags, on pets, or through the air. Pests are constantly trying to invade your home, but by servicing your home on a regular basis, we guarantee that we will provide you with such a high level of service that you will be satisfied. If for some reason you are not satisfied, we will return and service your home free of charge.
Customer: If I call for a free re-service, how long will it take for the technician to come back out and service my home?
INSTAR: We will provide you with a free re-service as soon as we possibly can. We take re-services seriously and can usually be at your home the day you call or the next day.
Customer: Can you get rid of my mosquitoes?
INSTAR: No. When we service your home, mosquitoes that come in contact with our product will die. However, because mosquitoes can fly in from your neighbor's property at any time they are very difficult to control. The best way to control mosquitoes is to remove all standing water from around your home and install screen doors.
Customer: Can you get rid of the flies around my house?
INSTAR: No. When we service your home, flies that come in contact with the product will die. However, because flies can fly in from your neighbor's property at any time they are very difficult to control. The best method to control flies is through sanitation and exclusion. For example, keep a lid on your trash can, make sure it is emptied on a regular basis, and install screen doors.
Customer: How do you treat for mice and rats?
INSTAR: The best method for treating rodents is exclusion. Mice can fit into a hole the size of a dime and rats can fit into a hole the size of a quarter. Caulking and steel wool are great for sealing holes and cracks that mice and rats enter. After you've sealed any entry points, we can implement a variety of products that will take care of rodents. We commonly use snap traps, glue boards, and rodent baiting programs.
Customer: Why do you offer quarterly service?
INSTAR: If you don't keep up on the service, it doesn't work. Getting rid of pests is similar to weeding a garden--without regular maintenance the problem will just keep returning.
